Edgar Schools
The Edgar School District is comprised of St. John's Grade School and Edgar Public School.
St. John's Parochial School is a K-8 facility operated by St. John's Roman Catholic Parish.

The Edgar Public Schools consist of Edgar Elementary School educating pre-school and 4 year old kindergarten to grade 5, Edgar Middle School consisting of grades 6-8, and Edgar High School with grades 9-12. All students, elementary through grade 12 are housed in the same building.
Edgar students consistently score at or above state average in standardized testing of grades 3, 8, and 10.
Edgar High School athletic programs are known statewide for achievement at the state level in football, basketball, track, cross country, and wrestling. Edgar has a quality music program with organized choral and band groups at the middle school and high school levels. Edgar's FFA has often competed in cattle judging, public speaking, creed, and parliamentary procedure at the highest state and national levels. Edgar's drama program features both an all school play and one-act contest plays where Edgar has often performed at the State Drama Festival. Edgar's forensic program consistently ranks among the top schools performing at the State Speech Contest and has received the state level Excellence in Speech award four times.
Edgar faculty members have received top state and national awards for excellence in teaching, including Kohl Teaching Awards in both science and business areas, Family and Consumer Educator of the Year, Wisconsin Computer Educator of the Year, Sam's Club Educator of the Year, District Coach of the Year, Fulbright Scholarships, and a National Social Studies Teacher of the Year award. Edgar District Administrator, Mark Lacke was been named Wisconsin Secondary Education Principal of the Year.
